Our 2022 Lucid Dreams has been sitting patiently in our cellar, waiting for that sweet spot in the year where there’s still some sunshine but also signs of transition.

This wine is an energetic combination of Tempranillo, Pinot Noir, Viognier and Chardonnay made from grapes that we farmed together on our home in West Gippsland.

Similar to 2021, the Tempranillo, Pinot Noir and Viognier whole bunches were sealed up in a tank for two weeks for some juicy carbonic action.

Around 8 months later we added Chardonnay which was a small ferment of hand destemmed fruit, left on skins for one week and then basket pressed to tank. The fruit came from our older vines planted in the early 2000s and adds layers of phenolics and body.
